Travel and mental health are two things I am passionate about and gifted in talent with.
I've been a licensed therapist in the state of NY since 2009, and traveling the worlds since graduating college in 2000. I have curated travel experiences on 5 continents, and have deeply researched the benefits of travel and mental health to implement on your reset experiences.
I use cultural emersion, exciting excursions and our unmatched travel community as a way to decrease stress levels, increases happiness, and creativity having a lasting impact on the individual and the world around them.
We consider this a birthright journey. One we host annually to assist Black Americans and their allies in visiting our shared homeland of Africa. Ghana is one of many emerging African countries, and in 2019, Ghana's president invited all Black Americans "home" as a symbol of unity after 400 years post the Atlantic slave trade. There is so much to do in the vibrant city including historical sites such as the WEB Duboise Museum, Black Star Square, and the slave dungeons of Cape Coast. There is also a new young music culture forming through Afro-Future Fest (formerly Afrochella). The trip is like no other. You will have fun immersing yourself in Ghanian culture, while experiencing our history from another perspective when you join us on this journey of a life time.
This experience is for individuals, couples and families that enjoy exploring the world as an individual, but has the option to engage in group experience as well. On this discovery tour, you will not only learn about Ghanian History. Our guided Reset journal will help you to explore and discover parts of yourself that will encourage growth in confidence, community, and overall happiness. If you are looking for a trip to Ghana that is already curated for you with top sites, then our RESET might be just what you need.
